Residents for Global Health and Service has an upcoming mission trip to Bangladesh, Nepal and India from 09/26/18 through 11/01/18:

BANGLADESH: We will be providing medical care to the Rohingya people of the Kutupalong refugee camp, which is currently the largest refugee camp in the world. We will work closely with AMAL (https://amal-bd.org/rohingyas/) and local doctors to provide medical care. We are also raising money to donate portable solar lights for those who have no electricity and live in darkness within these camps.

NEPAL: In Nepal we will be working with a primary school we have been supporting for the past several years. We are raising money to have solar panels installed for the school so they can have electricity for lighting and access to internet. We also hope to bring donations including clothing, books and old laptops. At BIR hospital in Kathmandu we will be giving lectures on trauma/anesthesia/critical care. We will then fly to Lukla and trek to Everest base camp, where we have the unique opportunity to work in the EBC emergency department - treating those with altitude sickness, extremity fractures and other acute diseases.

INDIA: During the final part of our mission we will be in Rishikesh, north of Delhi, staying in Ashrams to provide routine health care and medical screening to the villages around the ashrams.
